The author
Kenneth Carnesi, Sr.
An author, business leader, and lifelong observer of the choices that shape a person’s next chapter.

Kenneth Carnesi, Sr. was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, where he learned early that an education and a good name are both things worth protecting. He studied English at Brooklyn College, earned a master’s degree in criminal justice, and received his JD from New York Law School in 1982. Decades in New York legal practice gave him a lasting respect for precision, preparation, and the weight of a promise.
In 1991, as the Soviet Union was dissolving, Kenneth founded an international business consultancy and entered a world being rewritten in real time. His work with American companies took him across Central Asia, the former Soviet republics, and Europe, where he learned to read complex situations, build trust across cultures, and remain composed when the stakes were high.
In 1995, Kenneth was ordained by the Vatican as a Knight in the Order of the Poor Knights of Christ. In 1997, the Court of St. James in London recognized his knighthood.
His story also includes a profound personal fall. In 2004, he lost his career, possessions, and relationships, then faced the difficult work of rebuilding a life from the ground up. Faith, dignity, and integrity became more than convictions. They became the ground beneath his next step, and eventually the source of the honest, practical voice that now runs through his writing.
Today, Kenneth serves as COO and Director of Government Sales at Anaptyx LLC, bringing the same discipline to technology, operations, and long-term client relationships. His work in leadership continues alongside a deep commitment to learning, an instinct that has carried him from law and international business into managed technology and authorship.
His books are written for readers who are living through their own turning points. The resilience trilogy, After the Fall, Get Back Up, and Unfinished Business, follows the hard realities of loss, the work of moving forward, and the personal questions that cannot be left behind. Through the weekly Pages to Power podcast and his writing, Kenneth shares what experience has taught him: rebuilding is not a single decision, but a practice of showing up with honesty, courage, and purpose.
Recognition for his work includes a Literary Titan Gold Book Award for After the Fall, an International Impact Book Award for Unfinished Business, and 2026 recognition as Best Business Guidebook Author and Best New Inspirational Book Author in South Carolina. He is available for media, mentoring, and author talks through his public profiles.
